I was shocked and so deeply saddened to hear today about Barbara's illness and passing. I am just devastated that I was not there for her memorial service for her for Glenn and for her whole family. Despite us being best friends in high school and being in each other's weddings, I did not keep in touch with her as much as I wanted to. I am so sorry to hear she was so sick and in pain. I have so many wonderful funny and unforgettable memories with Barbara that I will now have to rely on for comfort. She was a true friend who no matter how long it had been since we talked, whenever we did speak or see each other, it was like we had never been apart. My prayers are with your family Barbara "gooter." I will never forget you, your laugh, your smile, your wit or our precious time together. I look forward to the one day I will see you again. Until then...spread joy and smiles in heaven like you did here.

- Lynn Watkins Martin, Ponte Vedra, FL

What a beautiful, beautiful person Barbara was. I can't remember her one time without a smile on her face. She will be missed by so many. She is certainly at peace now and smiling down at us, not wanting anyone to hurt. If I could bring half of the joy that she brought to this world, I would be happy Rest In Peace my friend, until we see you again??

Barbara was one of the sweetest most genuine Southern ladies I ever known. She was with out a doubt a ray of sunshine to all those who were lucky to take a trolley tour with her. Barbara's favorite audience however were of course the children/school groups. Going so far to make sure she had the best music on board for some of them. She will be greatly missed by all those that were blessed to know her. Cancer no more- so dance, sing and share your precious giggle Barbara. Prayers and love to the family during this sad time - XOXO's of comfort to you all.

My sincerest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing someone in death. May you take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This verse brought me peace when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for you. May the memories you have give you strength during this difficult time.
